Does anyone have any info on how the negotiations are going and whether any progress has been made? Would be good to be kept up-to-date with this kind of info.

Thanks for your question.

We have just come out of another two days with the Ministry and have another two days set out for early next week.

We will definitely come back to members will full details of where we are at following this. To date, there has been an offer, which your negotiation team have deemed as insulting as it is not addressing the value of support staff, the low pay issues, pay and employment equity issues and anything to do with the highly skilled and professional work that support staff do. Rest assured that your negotiation are totally committed to achieving a settlement that will deliver for all support staff.
