Support Staff Day - information?

Considering Support Staff Day is this Wednesday, I am very surprised that there is not more information on this website about Support Staff Day, especially considering support staff members are currently smack bang in the middle of negotiations. The whole NZEI website is a complete rabbit warren.

I am the worksite rep at my school and while we are having a morning tea for support staff, the school also traditionally 'shouts' all support staff a lunch. In order to explain to the new boss about the legacy of our support staff lunch, I was hoping for a flyer/poster or more information about Support Staff Day or facts about the terrible pay and conditions for support staff workers.

Please point me in the right direction or email koconnell@kns.school.nz if I am not looking in the right place. Cheers!

I have also been searching for the same information. I haven't come across anything. I wanted to put a poster or information on our staff notice board. Looks like I will have to put something together myself.

We are having pink day at our school. Children bring a gold coin & the Support Staff decide where these funds will go. We are also having non Support Staff bring morning tea as a thankyou to the Support Staff in our school.
