Supporting Success in Education

The October 1 tax cuts will have very little effect on me personally.  I will get just over $5 extra a week in my pay.  BUT put that back into every day living with the increase in GST and I won't get to see any of it.  When I got my groceries last week they were $8.75 more than they were prior to October 1...........there went my tax cut.

John Key has given the tax cuts to the wrong people.  It won't be the high income earners that spend it and put the money back into local businesses which keep people in work.  It is the low income earners who would be grateful for an extra $20 a week to have in their already stretched budgets.
