Great Reception from School Board!

Meeting with the Education Subcommittee of MAGS School BOT, 24/11/2010 It would have been difficult to improve on the reception we received for our supportstaff submission about what the BOT could do to improve policies related tosupport staff employment. It was an informal occasion: the 4 support staff memberssat around a coffee table in the staff room together with the committeemembers. The chairperson, Dr Sally-Ann Harbison, described the role of the committee, welcomed the support staff…See More

How can we help?My experience as a site rep is that secondary staff who join NZEI either have already been members at another school, or feel the looming threat of a personal issue, or do so as a well-thought through action after at least ayear of considering it.A particular…See More

Would be great to meet and discuss what your ideas are or you could email them to me. We will be in Wellington next weekend - Friday and Sat for the national exec advisory groups. It would be good if I had the ideas to take there where they can be discussed around the table or even over lunch or dinner.
