Education Minister in Wellington

Hi All

I am one of these NZEI members who is in extended retirement from annual Meeting . I do however keep a close eye on the events and happenings at Annual Meeting . It is not heartening that this government continues to ignore New Zealanders that undertake such key responsibilies in local schools across the country . Why is it that this government gives out funding into private schools where public schools which include support staff continue to struggle . This attitude underlines the fact that support staff took pay cuts this year ( ACC levy ) and that this government looks after its own , the rich and the business round table . It is icronic that the Minister quotes children as a central focus point where her attitude puts all students at risk
