The Executive and Members of Independent Schools Education Association (the union for teaching and non-teaching staff in independent schools) strongly supports the campaign for improved working conditions and wages for support staff in schools. We recognise that the workers have been unfairly left behind over the past years and the government has now backed away from the previous commitment to improve the sector's conditions. Our members are in a similarly difficult position as those in state schools and united action will help all support staff. We hope to have members at the march on Friday to lend our backing to the campaign. Go well.
